At the General & Vascular Surgery Center, our mission is to improve the lives of patients by providing optimal surgical care within a setting that is professional and comfortable. With our personalized approach to healthcare, over the past 15 years, we have not only improved the lives of thousands of people that have sought our medical expertise but we have also fostered many long-term relationships with our surgical patients and their families.
The Vascular Surgery Center is proud to offer our patients a full range of open and minimally invasive catheter-based endovascular surgical procedures, including many that are available in an outpatient setting at our Vascular Lab at our Milton Hospital office location. Here we utilize state of the art technology and the most advanced vascular surgery techniques such as sclerotherapy, radiofrequency and laser ablation, in the treatment of varicose veins and venous malformations.
Just as there is rarely a single “cause” of obesity, there is also no single “cure.” We recognize that the treatment and management of obesity is a lifelong process and while the solution often involves bariatric surgery, it certainly does not end with it. At the Center for Weight Management our multidisciplinary approach provides patients the very best opportunity to achieve their long term weight loss goals.
Currently, our practice offers three of the most advanced methods of bariatric surgery: Gastric Bypass Roux en-Y, Adjustable Gastric Band, and the Gastric Sleeve. Each of these methods are performed as minimally invasive (Laparoscopic) to maximize the possibility of a quick and safe recovery. After surgery, our Milton Hospital facility has an on-site a minor procedure room where the adjustment appointments are conducted in a private and comfortable setting.
The safety of our patients is our number one concern and each prospective candidate for surgery undergoes a comprehensive pre-operative Nutrition and Mental Health assessment, additionally any major medical issues are evaluated by a field specialist (i.e. Cardiology, Pulmonary medicine, Gastroenterology). Our ultimate goal is to offer the safest surgical procedure to a well-educated patient that adequately prepared; medically, physically and psychologically
